We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to take ownership of the HR function and support the organization through its continued growth.
About the Role
As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle and will work closely with employees and leadership across the organization.
This is a hands-on role covering both day-to-day HR operations and broader people initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring effective HR processes, supporting managers and employees, and maintaining compliance with applicable US employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through development, performance management and offboarding.
Lead and support employee relations, including addressing employee concerns, resolving workplace issues and managing investigations when required.
Develop and manage performance management processes and provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters.
Oversee compensation and benefits processes, including salary reviews and employee benefits administration.
Coordinate and oversee payroll and HR administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures and employee documentation.
Ensure compliance with US federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
Support recruitment and workforce planning initiatives, including hiring strategy and talent retention.
Manage and improve HR processes and systems, including HRIS.
Support employee onboarding, training, development and engagement initiatives.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR reporting.
Act as a trusted HR partner to leadership and employees, providing guidance on people-related matters.
Requirements
5+ years of broad HR experience, ideally including experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist.
Strong hands-on experience in employee relations and performance management.
Solid knowledge of US employment law and HR compliance.
Experience with payroll, compensation & benefits and HR administration.
Experience working with HRIS/HR systems.
Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR priorities.
Experience supporting managers and leadership on people-related matters.
Strong understanding of the full employee lifecycle.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
